The cottage is located on the bank of the River Ouse in
the Vale of York on our family farm. It normally accommodates 4 people
but can sleep 6 as we have a double fold down bed that can be put into
either spacious bedroom or sitting room. Also we have a cot (free of
charge) for your baby.
On the farm we have horses and pigs and lots of wheat. In spring lambs
graze along the riverbank, in autumn there are fresh apples to be
picked and eaten straight from the orchard or baked into pies!
Centrally located, York and Hull are only 35 minutes away and Leeds 45
minutes. For those who prefer more rugged countryside the North
Yorkshire Moors, The Peak District and the Yorkshire Dales are all
within 50 miles.
